League To Host Preseason Games

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The National Gridiron League (NGL) has officially announced that all member teams will be allowed to host up to two preseason exhibition games against non-league opponents. The first of these exciting matchups is set to kick off on Saturday, March 15, 2025, marking the beginning of a thrilling new season. The preseason 2025 schedule to include up to thirty-six games against non-league opponents. 


This landmark decision marks a significant moment for the league, providing both teams and fans an exciting preview of the upcoming season while fostering new rivalries and showcasing talent across a broader spectrum of competition.


The games will be meticulously designed to offer teams a valuable opportunity to fine-tune their strategies, evaluate player performance, and integrate new talent into their rosters before the 2025 regular season. NGL players participating in the preseason games will be compensated for their service. The league has not disclosed player compensation salaries for the 2025 regular season and the 2025 pre-season. The league will make player compensation information will be made available at a later date.
